The club meets on the first Friday of each month (excluding August), from 2 to 4 pm. Its members are elderly, mainly house-bound, disabled, or partially-sighted, who are brought to the monthly meeting by volunteer drivers. A programme of entertainment is arranged, there is a "shop" with sweets, birthday and Christmas cards, and books, and the afternoon concludes with refreshments, followed by a prayer by our minister or one of the helpers.

The club celebrated its 30th birthday in September 2005 with entertainment by members of the Churchdown Male Voice Choir, and a birthday cake made by the wife of one of our drivers.
